JobSlug Pro

Keeping track of document revisions isn't easy, and every time a document is printed out, it adds to the puzzling paper trail around an office. Users no longer have to wonder whose document is coming out of the printer. JobSlug tells them!

With JobSlug Pro, individual JobSlug information can be applied to a text box. Users have the option to have labels excluded and Job Information tracking offers 7 customizable data fields. Visual Indicators allow useres to easily identify JobSlugs. JobSlugs can be locked to certain computers that allow the JobSlug to be updated only when it is on certain computers.

JobSlug Pro attaches a self-updating slug to a QuarkXPress document that includes the last time a file was modified, when it was last output and which fonts and colors were used in the document. The slug updates whenever the document is printed so the information that appears on the printed copy is as current as possible.

JobSlug Pro allows users to attach full JobSlugs to text boxes and it allows them to create JobSlugs with selection document information, creating the JobSlug that fits their needs. JobSlug Pro can display these items:

• Job Data - Specific information users enter about the project.

• Client Name

• Job Number and Job Name

• Artist Name

• In Date and Due Date

• Job Notes

• Document Data - Specific information extracted from the project.

• Imported Graphics

• Last Printed Time and Last Time Document Was Saved

• Fonts and Spot Colors Used

• Custom Data - Seven User Modifiable Fields for a user's own data.

JobSlug Pro includes a template for entering job data in one convenient dialogue. Job Information management is easy with JobSlug Pro.

JobSlug Pro incorporates another XTension, TimeStamp. TimeStamp is a useful feature that adds a formatted data and time stamp to a text box. The TimeStamps update only when the document is saved.
