QuarkXPress automatically creates facing pages in reader's spreads format. Page two faces page three, just as the pages appear in the final publication. This is the easiest way to edit text as the user can view entire spreads at one time, but when it comes time to output a saddle-stitched publication the document needs to be rearranged into printer's spreads format. Bookletizer XTensions module rearranges reader's spreads document into printer's spreads document for final output.
